Our History

Jordan and Jessica met each other at the ages of eleven and twelve. They went to school together, and played basketball at the local YMCA league. They were best friends growing up and fell into their first “puppy love”. Jessica went through her school career playing different sports such as basketball, track, and volleyball, while Jordan’s interests were found in the more extreme sports, such as surfing and skateboarding. These two were always childhood sweethearts, and were some of the first in their graduating class to be married at the age of 19.

Before Jordan and Jessica graduated high school in 2005, both had encounters with Jesus Christ that changed their lives forever. As the two began the journey of maturing into adulthood, the one thing they were both convinced of was that they needed to know this Jesus who had impacted their lives so much. This desire is what lead the couple to become missionaries.

After graduating high school they enrolled in a Discipleship Training School for 5 months. Their lectures were held on the island of Veti Levu in Fiji. After three months, they sailed on a medical ship to New Zealand. It was only a few months later that Jordan proposed to Jessica in the beautiful waterfalls and valleys of Tauranga, New Zealand. They returned to Florida in August 2006, were wed on September 16th. It was a beautiful and memorable day.

After, the newlyweds returned as full-time intercessory missionaries to New Zealand, helping pioneer the Tauranga House of Prayer ministry. Jordan and Jessica’s hearts burn with passion for Jesus, and their desire is to train this emerging generation in the knowledge of Christ, prayer, and the Word of God.

Our Missions Experience

Jessica and Jordan have both served together in missions since they began in 2005. They have served in the Fijian Islands, in New Zealand, and Jordan has served on a short outreach to Lima, Peru. They have completed a Discipleship Training School with a world wide organization called Youth With A Mission (YWAM). YWAM is an international and interdenominational organization presenting Jesus Christ, mobilizing as many as possible to help in this task, and training and equipping believers for their part in fulfilling the Great Commission.

This consisted of a 3 month lecture phase on the Christian Faith, with a 2 month outreach to the North and South Islands of New Zealand on the M/V Pacific Link, a mercy medical ship. Afterwards they began pioneering an International House of Prayer (THOP) in Tauranga New Zealand. They were students on the THOP’s first internship program, and continued on as staff after graduating.

Jordan and Jessica are currently still pioneering the Tauranga House of Prayer, which in the larger picture will be part of a Strategic Global Missions Training Center, which will be located alongside and associated with Bethlehem College Campus in Bethlehem (Tauranga), New Zealand. Jordan and Jessica are serving directly through THOP. This missions center will host strategic initiatives in order to help proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ boldly to those who have never heard the Gospel throughout the nations (specifically in the South Pacific and Asia) This missions training center has strategic focuses, and is unique in that all of its areas of ministry will be rooted and grounded in an atmosphere of 24/7 worship and prayer through THOP.

This ministry is dedicated to helping people know God and make God known. One major focal point is equipping this emerging generation with the knowledge of God. This training center will host different schools of ministry that specialize in training people in the knowledge of God on a variety of levels. These levels will range from internships and introductory courses to university level theological training through University of the Nations. THOP will run eighty-four two hour prayer meetings including times of devotion, prophetic worship, and corporate intercession for revival. All missions training and theological education will be experienced in context to this 24/7 prayer and worship environment.
